Natural opal is a semi-precious stone characterised by the play of iridescent colours on its surface. This opal has an oval shape and a white colour that reflects light in various shades of green, blue, red and orange. It is 6.90x5.00–7.20x5.20 mm in size and weighs 0.40-0.60 carats per stone. This opal has visible inclusions, which means it is not clear. It has not undergone any treatment to improve its appearance or durability. Its iridescence is strong; it changes colour depending on the angle of view and light source. This opal comes from Ethiopia, one of the most important sources of opals in the world.
