White Topaz is a colourless variety of topaz that has a glassy lustre and a hardness of 8 on the Mohs scale. It is a silicate of aluminium and fluorine, which can be found in pegmatite, granite or in cavities formed in rhyolitic lava flows. Topaz is considered a stone of purity, truth and wisdom. It is said to help clarify thoughts, stimulate intuition and improve communication. White topaz is suitable for the zodiac signs Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius and Pisces.
